Vice Principal Hung is himself an excellent role model for all student teachers throughout the past working as the link teacher and as the mentors. He not only shows to teachers-to-be probity and integrity, but also impresses student teachers with his professionalism. He can help take student teachers to another level when it comes to being committed, responsible and caring. Student teachers can see for themselves and understand what it really means to be committed in a real context. Being a very resourceful teacher, Vice Principal Hung can show student teachers that there are a variety of community resources they can tap into and they can use creatively. For example, he has helped the school to set up a team of voluntary curators for Hong Kong heritage and museums. In this activity, he can show the student teachers that they should respect, for example the Hong Kong Palace Museum's intellectual property. And we should not name our student curators Hong Kong Palace Museum student curators. In our school, we have a lot of students with special learning needs. Vice Principal Hung can always show to student teachers how to cater for learner diversity, how to care for their growth needs and why we should become a teacher. Hung excels in all the areas mentioned in the criteria and can surely help teachers-to-be to reflect whether they can really become a professsional teacher and pass on the torch to the ones who are qualified. In the future, I firmly believe that Hung will continue to share with and impress all the student teachers and teachers around him.
